As a mental health professional, you are certainly aware of how important it is for clients to be provided with both support and acceptance. At the Mental Health Association in Cattaraugus County, we provide just that. Many of the services available require referral through a mental health professional or a mental health agency however, so please take a look at the list below for information on programs and services available for your client.

  • Camp New Horizons: A free, therapeutic summer camp designed to serve children, ages 8-15, who have special social, emotional, and/or behavioral needs.
  • Friendship Club: A relaxed social club where clients can offer each other support while developing skills that facilitate recovery.
  • Compeer and Compeer for Youth: Clients can be matched with a mentor from the community to engage in life-enhancing activities which help to ease recovery.
  • Family Support Services: Support and advocacy is available for families who have a child with special social, emotional, and/or behavioral needs.
