COMPEER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Compeer Programs are encouraged to expand their services, depending upon funding, staff, community support, available volunteers, and the population to be served.
There are currently four possibilities:
- 1:1 Adult Match
- 1:1 Youth Match (SED/at risk)
- Group Placement, with the MH Friendship Club
- Compeer Calling: it offers interim support to people waiting for a 1:1 match with a volunteer by providing a weekly phone call until a match is made
Each opportunity has the flexibility to work around your schedule. From an hour a week to as much as you feel comfortable with.
At Compeer, we are always trying to expand what we do and how we do it. When you become a volunteer, you will be notified when there are new opportunities to explore.
